OnBase will undergo maintenance on Wednesday, June 28, from 5:30 PM- 6:30 PM. OnBase Web, Unity Client, and their respective forms will be unavailable during this time. Please log out of OnBase and save your work. before 5:15 PM. If you have any questions please reach out to the IT Help Desk.

UPDATED: The IT testing of disaster recovery systems will now begin at 9:00 PM and be completed by 11:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023. The impacted services have not changed. During the maintenance window, off campus users will not be able to access systems hosted in ESU's datacenter including Banner, OnBase, Student Financial Center, etc. (View a full list of impacted systems). The public website (emporia.edu), Hornet 365, Outlook, Teams, Canvas and other cloud services will remain available if you are off campus. Users on campus during the outage will not be able to access the internet or any IT systems. We appreciate your understanding as we perform this critical testing of the campus infrastructure. IT will be performing maintenance to campus doors with card access on Saturday, June 24. Maintenance will begin at 7 AM and the work is expected to be complete by 9 AM. You may experience brief interruptions when trying to access a door with a card during this time. If you have any questions, please contact the IT Help Desk.

ESU's internet service provider will be doing emergency maintenance tonight from 10 PM to midnight. During this time users from off campus will not be able to access the public website (emporia.edu) or log in to ESU systems including Canvas, SSB and others. Access to Microsoft 365 and Google, including Outlook, Gmail, Teams and OneDrive will not be impacted. Access to the internet and all systems from on campus will not be impacted during the outage. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact the IT Help Desk if you have any questions.

IT Maintenance is Complete - May 25, 2023 The planned IT maintenance has now been completed. All IT systems and access to the internet from on campus has been returned to normal service.

IT will be testing disaster recovery systems on Thursday, May 25, from 6:00 AM until 7:00 PM. During this time, the following systems will be unavailable: • Computers on campus (i.e. no Internet, network printing, etc.) • Wireless networks (i.e. no Internet) • Banner • Cognos • OnBase • SkyPrint • SkyLab • Please see TechSite for a complete list of ON-PREMISES systems Our cloud-based services including the public website, Hornet 365, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Canvas, Target X, Google services, Blackbaud, etc. will be available from off campus. Please ensure that your computers, printers, Konica Minoltas and other devices are shut off to help prevent power-related issues. Hornet TV displays will be shut off prior to the power outage. We appreciate your cooperation as we complete this required maintenance.

Beginning Tuesday, April 25, the fleet vehicle reservation system, CARS, will be updated to a new version. This refreshed release will include a new look and a modern interface with intuitive and easy-to-use screens. To access CARS, visit Hornet 365, select Employees and then select the CARS tile. This link will provide a new landing page with how-to guides and documentation. The CARS application will continue to require roles as outlined in the user guides to check out a vehicle. If you had that role in the previous system, you will continue to have the same role in the new system. After a car is assigned to an individual, that individual can visit the portal to see key information about the car (ex. description of car, license plate, check out dates, etc.) If you have questions about the reservation service itself, please contact Stormont Maintenance (620-341-5331). If you have questions about the CARS web application, please contact the IT Help Desk. IT is excited to partner with the Stormont Maintenance Center to bring this new, modern experience to our users and look forward to your feedback.
