The purpose of this site is to allow students, faculty, and staff at Emporia State University to update your personal information.
PREFERRED NAME
Students, faculty, and staff may use names other than your legal first name to identify yourself, regardless of whether you have legally changed your name. Chosen first names will be included in many common display locations, such as Email “Display Name”, Class Rosters, Grade Rosters, and Hornet Cards.
To update your Preferred Name, complete the Name Change Form.

Employees - Update your information by emailing Human Resources at humres@emporia.edu
EMAIL ADDRESS (USERNAME)
Students and employees can change your username (ie. the part before the "@" sign in an email address). This will be automatically generated, based on a name change. Complete the Username Change form to begin the process.
LEGAL NAME CHANGE
Current Students - Complete the Student Name Change Form
Prior students - Please contact the Registration Office at 620-341-5211 for assistance with a name change.
Employees - Complete the Name Change Form.
